Evening Prayer with Others

As we journey through this CHRISTmas week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from MATTHEW 2 verses 13-18 – as we consider TELLING OTHERS THE GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2023.

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Friday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, Somalia and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for this weekend

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : MATTHEW 2 verses 13-18
Meditation : take time and consider all that happens here.

Pray God’s blessing on those on our Church Prayer List
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them all real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read these words again from MATTHEW 2 verses 13-18 – in another version?
Reflect on the words and events

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For all you have done for us
As we name others in a place of suffering
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray God’s blessing on the wider SEECOS Church family
Father God…hear our prayers and bless each and all we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from MATTHEW 2 verses 1-12
Reflect on the verses and words spoken at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this Jesus – with your words of faith and trust

Help my unbelief
Give saving grace to those struggling with faith and doubt

Then pray in response to this God of ours
Pray with confidence
Pray with honesty
Pray with humility

We pray as those eagerly waiting His return as Lord of all.
