Thy Kingdom Come #toJesus

In our land and across our world during the 10 days before Pentecost earlier this year believers and followers of Jesus were invited to pause and pray for the Kingdom of God to be experienced and evidenced anew. This was a venture created by God through the Archbishop of Canterbury and others.

As part of our daily devotional rhythm we are revisiting the 11 themes on our website and social media pages – each Saturday morning at 8am.

Today we are encouraged to pray for others to come to Jesus – to meet with Him – to become His disciples, living for Him – seeking His Father’s will to be done.

Please take a few minutes to pray for others known to you.
Please pause and pray for families to come to faith at Liberton.
Please pray for prodigals to return to Jesus.

O Lord, hear our prayers and show amazing grace we ask.
In Jesus’ name.
Amen

Pray for Big Alpha

This evening the course comes to an end with Part 11 – Telling Others!

Pray for all who attend.

Pray for God’s blessing!

Pray for an overflow to others!

“1. Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart. 2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. 3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 5 For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.”

2 Corinthians 4 verses 1-6
