Meditation : take time and consider these verses about Joseph and his family.
What are you encouraged and challenged by?
What is God saying to you today?

Pray in response…..for others in your family at this time

Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer

God of grace and mercy…and hope, hear our prayers.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from Genesis 37
Reflect on the words and events recorded here….. and Pray in response to Father God
Living God, hear our evening prayers.

Meditation : consider carefully these chapters and these events in Jacob and Esau’s lives.
What is God saying to you from them today?
What is your response?

Pray God’s blessing for those who feel alone or lonely at this time
Oh Father God, have mercy and bless each and all we ask.

Reading : read the words again from Genesis 32 and 33
Reflect on their meaning for you and then pray…..
O Lord, hear our evening prayers and our response to your Word.
Lead us into and through tomorrow we ask.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
