Reading : 2 CORINTHIANS 4 vs 16-18

Meditation : take time to consider these 3 verses today.
What words do you focus on?
What is God saying to you today?

And then Pray humbly in response

O LORD God,

For these truths this morning.
Oh help me
To never give up!

Pray God’s blessing on the refugee situation in Lebanon
And for Big Alpha coming in autumn
God of grace and mercy, hear our prayers this day and bless all real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these 3 verses again.
Reflect on your God…. and then Praise Him in your evening Prayer

LORD God, our God, receive our evening praise.
For who You are!
For all you have done for us!
And for all that is ahead!
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done!

Meditation : carefully and prayerfully consider these great words again this morning.  What is God saying to you today about His ways and purposes?

Which words will you hold on to today?

And then Pray in response – as God leads you
Invite and allow the Holy Spirit to bring words and images to your mind.

Pray with confidence to our God, the Giver of this treasure.

Reading : 2 CORINTHIANS 3 vs 7-18

Meditation : consider what is said here…as you hear from God at the start of the day.  What words stay with you?

Look again at verses 12-14.

And then Pray in response to what you have read
Taking time to wait before God

Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
I have read these words
And now I pray for you to work them out
as a living reality in my life – even today.

In Jesus’ name.

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask…..seek…..knock……..hear.

Father God…thank you.

Evening

Reading : read the verses again from chapter 3

Reflect prayerfully on these words…. And then pray as your day closes

LORD God, our great God,
For all of today
I thank You,
Even for those things that have caused me fear and concern.
Help me to rest in Your unfailing love and on Your faithful Word
As I wait for tomorrow.
