Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading :   ACTS 20 verses 1-12

Meditation : take time and consider these verses this morning as Paul journeys on.  What does God’s Word teach you today?
What are you encouraged and challenged by?

Pray in response to Paul’s God, your God.

O God of truth,
I read
Help me believe
And trust in You
And let Your Holy Spirit work in and through me.
As You were doing through Paul
As You are doing across the world.

In Jesus’ name.

Reflect on this God who was at work through Paul and pray in response to Him for your church and the church worldwide

What is God saying to you today from His Word?

then pray in response as your day starts

In confession and need to be more like Jesus,
And for your city, your town, your neighbourhood
For yourself and for others known to you at this time.) 

O LORD, receive our morning praise and hear our prayers.

With the Good News of the Gospel.

Help me to live and speak for You afresh this day
Whatever the circumstances
With the help of your Holy Spirit
In thought and word and action.

O LORD, God of mercy, hear our cry and pour out a blessing!

As we look ahead to tomorrow
As we name before you those trapped in life at this time.
