Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : PROVERBS 15 verse 1

Meditation : consider this one verse as your day starts.
A gentle answer

What is your response to these words?

Take time to Pray in response to the LORD our God
Trusting in Him as you step into this day

In Jesus’ Name
Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
‘Thy Kingdom come’ Father God
LORD our God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read the passage again from PROVERBS 15 verse 1
Reflect on the words…. And then pray to this God in response

O God of saving grace and mercy,
Hear our evening prayers,
For our city and our nation.
As we return our thanks to you.
As we look back on our day
As we trust you for tomorrow
In Jesus’ name
Amen and Amen.

As we step into the weekend….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from PROVERBS chapter 12 verse 26 – as we continue to pause in Proverbs and Psalms this Summer time….

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Friday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Israel, Gaza, Ukraine, Russia, Yemen and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Pray God’s blessing on those on our Church Prayer List.
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy on each and all we ask

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from PROVERBS 12 verse 26
Reflect on what is said here
and pray in response to Father God

LORD God, Our God,
Hear our evening prayers
As we return our sacrifice of praise for who you are
And your help even this day in leading us
Forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who have sinned against us even today
As we bring ourselves and our world to you at the end of this day.
Amen.

Thursday Evening Prayer with Others
