Bible Verse for the Week and Sunday Morning Reflection

Jesus said…..
I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Luke 15 verse 7

Daily Devotions for Friday 21st October, 2022

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : ROMANS 15 verses 10-12

Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here about our God.
Praise the Lord, all Gentiles!
What images or words stay with you?
What is God teaching/reminding you about His kingdom ways?

And then Pray with words of Praise to this God of ours in response

Happy are those who have the God of Jacob to help them
and who depend on the LORD their God,
the Creator of heaven, earth, and sea,
and all that is in them.
He always keeps his promises;
He judges in favour of the oppressed
and gives food to the hungry

And so we bring our sacrifice of praise to you, our God Most High.
Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those rejoicing and celebrating at this time
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from ROMANS 15 verses 10-12
Reflect on the words written here and pray in response to the LORD our God of saving grace.

Praise the LORD!
Praise the LORD, my soul
I will praise him as long as I live;
I will sing to my God all my life.

In Jesus’ name, Amen!
