Thy Kingdom Come #offer

As part of our rhythm of daily and weekly prayer and devotion as a Church, we are revisiting the 11 themes of the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture earlier this year each Saturday morning.

We are invited today to pause and pray – offering ourselves for God’s Kingdom purposes.

Our whole selves
Our time and talents
Our monies and possessions
– even today

We are also encouraged to pray for up to 5 people – family, friend, neighbour, colleague – to meet with Jesus.

Daily Devotions for Saturday 28th September, 2019

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : PSALM 116

Meditation : take time to consider these verses this morning.
Why did the psalmist love the LORD?
Which words do you hold onto as you step into this day?

And then Pray in response – making these verses your own prayer

In Jesus’ name.
Amen

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your midday prayer
(See the church magazine or online under the Prayer tab on LK website)
God of grace and mercy…and hope, hear our prayers.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from Psalm 116 at the end of your day
Reflect on these words as you look back over the day and then Pray in response
LORD God, our God, hear our prayers this evening
As we return our thanks to You
As we step into tomorrow trusting in you
In Jesus’ name. Amen
