Thy Kingdom Come #prayfor

As a church family we have been revisiting the 11 themes from the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture last Pentecost on a Saturday morning as we lead up to Pentecost this year…..May 21-31.

This morning we are invited to pause and pray to God…praying for others…..

Family
Neighbours
Colleagues
Friends

Those we have met this past week
Those we will meet with today

Those in need known to us

In Jesus’ name

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus.

Reading : PSALM 119 verse 71

Meditation : take time to consider these words this Saturday morning.
What is God saying to you today from His Word?
What is your response to Him?

Pray in response to the God of Psalm 119

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your own midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Evening
Reading : read this verse from Psalm 119 again
Reflect prayerfully on the words written here….. and then Pray in response

Spirit of the Living God, hear our evening prayers at the end of this day
And be with those we name before you.
In Jesus’ saving name, Amen.

What are you encouraged and challenged by?
Which words stay with you as your day starts?

And then take time to Pray in response to this God
Make these words your own

Amen we pray in praise together this new day.
