Jesus said……”I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”
John 8.12
Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God
Reading : PSALM 119 verse 81
Meditation : take time to consider this verse on this Sunday.
Which words stay with you?
What is your response to God’s written Word this morning?
And then pray in response,
Using the verse as part of your own prayer this morning
In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your own midday prayer
Jesus,
Son of God
Son of Man
Saviour
Teacher
Bread of Life
The Good Shepherd
Teach us
Save us
Feed us
Afresh
That we might truly be
Yours
And Yours alone
Amen
Evening
Reading : read these words again from Psalm 119
Reflect on the words and images and then Pray in response at the end of your day
O LORD, our God
We bring our evening sacrifice of praise to you.
As we return our thanks to you
As we acknowledge You our Saviour and Help even this day.
As we pray for all corners of our world
To know of Jesus.
In His saving name, Amen.
