Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : ISAIAH 25 verses 1-9

Meditation : take time and consider this part of the Bible this morning.
A Hymn of Praise!
What does it mean for you today?
Is there a song to the LORD on your lips?
Is there a song to the LORD missing in your life at this time?

And then pray in response – as your day starts

Pray your own words of thanksgiving to the LORD God.
Sing out your praises!

In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Church in North America
Father God…hear our prayers and bless this work we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from ISAIAH 25 verses 1-9
Reflect on the verses and images at the end of your day
and Pray in response to God – with your hymn of thanksgiving

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
As we sing our songs of praise
For all your good gifts to us!
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thursday Evening Prayer with Others

As we journey through this week – with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from ISAIAH chapter 14 verses 1 and 2 – as we continue to consider the GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2022

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the blessings He has given this day – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our world at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Is there a prayer for a return on your lips today?
For yourself? For another?

And then pray in response as your day starts

Pray your own words to the LORD God

O LORD
We ask for good news in Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Pray God’s blessing on the Church in Europe
O LORD, hear our prayers and pour out a blessing we ask on your people!

Evening
Reading : read the set verses again from ISAIAH 14 verses 1 and 2
Reflect on these words again at the end of your day
and Pray in response to this God of ours with confidence

O LORD God, hear our evening prayers
As we thank You for Your help in our lives.
O have mercy we ask
On others
On our Church
On our world
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
