Pause to Pray for Others

On this particular day in November…as the nation and the world remembers and still wrestles with new cases of the coronavirus and vaccine supplies…and other points of crisis and concern… you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time

For family and friends and neighbours

For those grieving and mourning the loss of a loved one especially at this time of the year

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and world leaders at this time of decision making as COP26 continues

Daily Devotions for Thursday 11th November, 2021

Remembrance Day

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : PSALM 40

Meditation : We consider afresh these verses this morning as we pause with God.
A song of Praise!
A prayer for help.
Which verses stay with you?

And then pray in response to God as your day starts
Bringing your song of praise!
Asking for God’s help…for yourself and for others on this particular day.

We ask in Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Midday

Pray God’s blessing on the work of Faith Mission in our city and beyond.
O LORD, hear our prayers and pour out a blessing we ask

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from PSALM 40
Reflect on these words afresh at the end of your day
And then Pause to pray in response on this particular day to this God of ours

We ask in Jesus’ name.
Amen.
