Meditation : take time to consider these verses this morning.
The Prayer of a Man in Exile.
What are you encouraged and challenged by today?
What are your words of prayer this morning?

Then take the time to call out in Prayer to this God of ours
Looking again at verses 2 and 8 as you turn to prayer

In Jesus’ name.
Amen and Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Bible Society in Cyprus
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and pour out blessings we ask

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from PSALM 42
Reflect on the way God has been with you in your life journey
and pray in response to Him – with honest humility
and for others known to you in need at this time

LORD God, our God Defender,
Hear our evening prayers
As we call out to you
As we bring ourselves to you at the end of this day
In exile or in comfort
As we name others before You.
In need or in plenty
Amen.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world

For family and friends and neighbours

For the speedy supply of vaccines across the world

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and our national leaders at this time of decision making
