Meditation : take time and consider these few verses this morning
What is God saying to you today and what is your response?.

Take time to Pray in response – including for those grieving and mourning

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask and seek and knock……and hear
Father God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from 2 Samuel 23
Reflect…. and then Pray as your day closes
God of David and the God of today,
My God, our God,
Hear our evening prayers
As we journey from today to tomorrow
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Meditation : consider all that happens here… at the start of your day.
What words stay with you? What is God saying to you from His Word?

And then Pray in response to what you have read
Taking time to wait before God as you pray

Reading : read the verses again from 2 SAMUEL 15
Reflect prayerfully on these events…. And then pray as your day closes
LORD God, our great God,
For all of today
I thank You,
Even for those things that have caused me fear and concern.
Help me to rest in Your unfailing love and on Your faithful Word
As I wait for tomorrow.
As I look around at this world
In these days.
Have mercy O Lord!
