Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : GENESIS 43 and 44
Meditation : consider what is recorded here about Joseph and his family.
What do they mean for you today?
What is God saying to you?

And then turn to God in prayer

In Jesus’ Name
Amen!

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
In the Upper Room….or where you are
Ask…… seek…… knock……….hear!
Father, thank you.

Evening
Reading : read these chapters again at the end of your day
Reflect on the words and then pray in response to what they say to you
Father God, thank you for amazing saving grace – even to me!
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reading : GENESIS 12 verses 1-20
Meditation : consider the words recorded here about God’s call to Abram.
What is He saying to you in particular today?
What is your response to Him?

And then turn to God in response with your morning prayer

O Father God,
LORD God,
Our God,
Amen.

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask…… seek…… knock……….hear!
Father, thank you.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from Genesis 12
Reflect on the words…and on your day…. and Pray in response – to Father God
(Pray your own words at the end of this day
Words of worship and praise – for who God is
Words of confession and trust – for what Father God has done today for you
Words of hope and longing – for what God will do in and through you – even tomorrow)
