Morning
Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit
Reading : Luke 14 verses 1-24
Meditation : take time and consider what happens here at the home of this important Pharisee…..
and all that Jesus says. What is He saying to you today?
Pray in response…to be an inviter of others to God’s banquet!
Spirit of God,
Help me and Teach me,
Fill me and Use me,
And bring others to God’s great banquet
Even this day I pray.
Amen…in Jesus’ Name.

Pray God’s blessing on our government in Holyrood
God of grace and mercy and justice, hear our prayers.
Evening
Reading : read the verses again from Luke 14
Reflect on these words and then Pray in response for others -family, friends, workplace
Father God, hear my evening prayer and change lives – even mine!
