Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God
Reading : EXODUS chapter 29
Meditation : take time and consider these words about the significance of sacrifice. What do they say to you today?
Consider Jesus, our God-given sacrifice, as your day starts.
and then pray humbly in response to our God
O LORD God,
As I read these words
Make me truly grateful
For your love
In sending Jesus
To die on a cross
For my sin
That as I believe
You forgive
And give life eternal
To me
And all who believe!
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Midday
Pray God’s blessing on John and Lindsay Young
O LORD, our Father God, as we thank you for John and Lindsay
May it please you to pour out a double blessing on them even today.
Evening

O LORD, hear our evening prayers we ask
As we thank you for Jesus, our Saviour, the Lamb of God
