Meditation : take time to consider the theme of THANKS this morning.
What are you thankful to God for at this time?
And then Pray in response – looking again at verse 5 as you turn to prayer
O LORD our God
Good and loving and faithful One
Thank you

In Jesus’ name.

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever

LORD God, our good and loving and faithful God,
Hear our prayers this evening
As we return our sacrifice of thanksgiving to You
And trust you for tomorrow
