Pray to hear and receive from God our heavenly Father

Reading : 2 TIMOTHY chapter 1
Meditation :  consider Paul’s words here about being faithful to Jesus

and then pray in response to this God who has called us to be His and to serve Him

In and through Christ Jesus alone we pray this morning, Amen.

Pray for Edinburgh and Scotland to experience God’s saving grace
LORD, have mercy on us and hear our prayers.

Reading : read verses 6-12 again

Reflect on these words….. and pray with thanksgiving!

Reading : 1 Timothy 6 verses 11-21
Meditation : consider the truths Paul wrote to Timothy at the end of this letter

Pray in response to be more like Jesus above all else
LORD God of Paul and Timothy
My God,
Hear my prayer of response to what I have read and considered
And help me afresh to live my life for You
In Christ Jesus
By the help of the Holy Spirit

Pray for those struggling with doubt
God of mercy, hear our prayers!
