Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Three in One

Reading : ISAIAH chapter 61
Meditation : consider again all that is said here as your day starts.
Good News

What is your response to God’s written Word today?
What words stay with you as you step into this day?

Then turn to pray to this God in response

O LORD our God
Thank you for these words
And all they teach us
Receive our sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving
And confession
And intercession
And help us keep our eyes upward this day
Amen

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on believers in Egypt
O LORD, give help and hear our prayers we ask this day.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from ISAIAH chapter 61
Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response – to this God, our God

LORD God, our God,
Sovereign and Saviour God
God who deserves our thanks
Hear the evening prayers of your people
For we are indeed in need of rescue from this world
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Ask and seek and knock……and hear
Father God…thank you.

Reflect…. and then Pray as your day closes

God of Isaiah and the God of today,
My God, our God,
Hear our evening prayers
As we thank you for your help and forgiveness today
As we journey from today to tomorrow
As we name others we care about before you

For others to know saving grace

O LORD, have mercy on each and all and give blessings we ask

Reading : read the set passage again prayerfully at the end of your day
Reflect….. and then pray to this Saviour God in response

LORD God, the LORD Almighty, hear my prayer this evening.
As I thank you for the blessings of this day
As I call out to you for others to know saving grace
As I lay myself and this world before you
