Pause to Pray for Others

On this Wednesday in November…as the nation and the world still wrestles with new cases and vaccine supplies…and other points of crisis and concern… you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time

For family and friends and neighbours

For the Church in Glasgow at this time – to be salt and light

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and world leaders at this time of decision making during COP26

Daily Devotions for Wednesday 3rd November, 2021

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Creator God

Reading : LEVITICUS 5 v14 – ch.6 v7

Meditation : consider these particular words this morning.
Pause with your God as the day starts.

And then pray in response – to this God we believe and trust in
Confessing
Receiving His forgiveness and cleansing

O God
God of grace

Thank you

Forgive me
Forgive us

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the land and people of Afghanistan
LORD, hear our prayers and give blessing real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from LEVITICUS 5 and 6
Humbly reflect on what you read and then pray in response –
To this God we believe and trust in

O God
My God

Thank you for this day

Forgive me
Forgive us
