Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : REVELATION chapter 21

Meditation : take time and consider this chapter this particular Sunday morning.
What does it mean for you today?
What is God teaching you this morning?

And then pray in response to what you have read

O God of greatness
We bow before you
We believe in you
We trust in you
Today
Tomorrow
Forever
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on John and Lindsay and their family
O LORD, God of mercy, hear our cry and bless this person we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these particular verses again from REVELATION 21
Reflect on the words and images and then Pray in response to this God
O LORD, hear our evening prayers we ask
As we thank you for the blessings of this Sunday
As we believe and trust in you
As we name others before you
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thy Kingdom Come #help

As a church family at Liberton Kirk we have been revisiting the 11 themes from the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture earlier in the year. We are pausing to do so together on a Saturday morning.

This morning we are invited to pause and pray…and ask for Help…to God, to Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Take time with Him

and ask His help

for yourself

for others in need

for those without hope at this time

Reading : REVELATION chapter 20

Meditation : take the time to consider these words this Saturday morning.
What are you encouraged and challenged by?
Which words stay with you as your day starts?

And then take time to Pray in response to this God

Amen we pray in praise together this new day.

Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your midday prayer

God of grace and mercy…and hope, hear our prayers.

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from REVELATION 20
Reflect on the words…. and then Pray in response to what you have read
LORD God, our God, hear our evening prayers.
As we worship you for who you are
As we thank you for your help this day
And name others before you
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : REVELATION 19 verses 11-21

Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here by John.
What images or words stay with you?
What is God saying to you today from His Word?
What is your response to Him?

Pray to this God of ours in response
Including for others on a journey meeting with God even today

O Living LORD,
I read these words.
Help me let the Holy Spirit work out these truths
Even today.
May you guide and bless others
At this time in their lives
Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Royal Family
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from REVELATION 19
Reflect on the words written here and pray in response to the Master Planner
Living LORD, hear our evening prayers and receive our praise
As we believe and trust in you
For the large and the small things in our lives
For the world we live in.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
