Daily Devotions for Sunday 24th November, 2019

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : PSALM 134

Meditation : take time and consider this short psalm of praise this particular Sunday morning.
What does it mean for you today?
What are the reasons for your song of praise this morning?

And then pray in response – using the verses as you turn to prayer

Praise Him!
Praise Him!
Praise Him!
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on someone you prayed for this past week
O LORD, God of mercy, hear our cry and bless this person we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these particular verses again from Psalm 134
Reflect on the words and images and then Pray in response to this God
O LORD, hear our evening prayers we ask
As we thank you for the blessings of this Sunday
As we believe and trust in you
As we pilgrimage on towards tomorrow
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thy Kingdom Come #Praise

As a church family at Liberton Kirk we have been revisiting the 11 themes from the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture earlier in the year. We are pausing to do so together on a Saturday morning.

Today we are invited to pause and pray with praise!

Praise my soul the King of Heaven!

Praise Him! Praise Him!

Praise the name of Jesus!
