Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit, on this Sunday

Reading : PSALM 123

Meditation : take time to consider this short psalm today.
The LORD of mercy.
What is God saying to you today from his Word?
What are you encouraged and challenged by?

Pray in response to what you have read and considered

In Jesus’ name
Today this is my prayer
For I believe and trust in Him
Amen.

Midday
Pray for a church in another city or town to know Sunday blessings
O LORD God, hear and answer our prayers.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Evening
Reading : read Psalm 123 again as your day ends
Reflect on the truths beyond the words and then Pray to this God …our God
Including for others known to you in need at this time
O Father, Son and Holy Spirit, hear our evening prayers
As we praise You for who You are
As we return our thanks to you for the blessings of this day.
As we name others in need before You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Receive our praise

And keep us looking unto You
As you walk with us this day

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer

Father God of grace and mercy, hear our prayers.

Evening
Reading : read this Psalm again
Reflect prayerfully on the words and images ….. and then Pray in response
Especially for others in need of receiving help and strength at this time
Spirit of the Living God, hear our evening prayers at the end of this day
And be with those we name before you.
In Jesus’ saving name, Amen.
