Reading  :  Isaiah 5 vs 8-30
Meditation :    consider where God’s people went wrong here  –
and then Pray  around the words of verse 25
LORD God, my God,
Help me understand these words I have read.
Help me learn from these words I have read.
Help me put these words into daily practice
That I may act and think and speak to please only You.
In Jesus’ Name I ask this.
Amen.

Midday
Pray a blessing on the residents and staff at Ellen’s Glen House
Father God, hear our prayers.

Evening
Reading :  Isaiah 5 vs 18-20
Reflect on these verses and pray to please God more and more
LORD hear our evening prayers.

Reading :   Isaiah 2 vs 1-5
Meditation :  consider what the prophet Isaiah saw would happen –
pray for understanding and that God’s people today will be the same
God of Jacob, Judah and we, your people,
Thank You for being the true and perfect Light.
Help us to truthfully walk in Your ways – this day and forever –
That even through us others will find You,
The God of Jacob, of Judah and our God.

Meditation :   consider Judah’s sinful ways …yet God’s offer of forgiveness
Pray through the words of vs 18-20…and receive…
LORD God, Father God,
I come to You this morning – and You alone.
I need your forgiveness afresh.
In Jesus’s name.

Pray a blessing on those who feel they have no hope or a future.
Lord, hear our prayers.

Evening
Reading :  Isaiah 1 vs 18-20
Reflect on these words again, and the hope they offer and then pray in response
at the end of the day
LORD God, at the end of this Sunday
I bring my evening praise, my prayers, my life
And I now lay them all down before you.
I praise You for being my great and loving God,
God of grace and forgiveness,
Of provision and protection.

Our God of grace and compassion,
Who hears our cry for mercy.
Refresh and satisfy Your people anew – according to Your new covenant.
