Thy Kingdom Come #celebrate

As a Church we took part in the global prayer venture of Thy Kingdom Come earlier this year.
This ran during the 11 days between Ascension and Pentecost….many weeks and months ago now!

Each Saturday at 12 noon we are continuing to ask and seek and knock on Heaven’s door…..’Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done’…..and to pray for up to 5 people we know to meet with Jesus and to experience God’s Kingdom reign in their lives.

This week we focus on the theme of CELEBRATE as we pause to pray with others.

It may seem a strange thing to do at this time but we are invited to spend time with the LORD our God….bringing our prayers of celebration and praise to Him at this time. You may find it helpful to read PSALMS 146 and 149 as you turn to Prayer.

Bring to mind the good gifts God has given you this past week.

Celebrate His amazing grace and kindness and generosity.

Celebrate His acts of goodness to you and others.

Celebrate with the psalmist and the musicians and the dancers!

‘The Kingdom of heaven will be like this….’
What images or words stay with you?

What is your response to Him?

Including for others on a journey meeting with God

O Eternal LORD,
I read these words.
Help me let the Holy Spirit work out these truths
Even today.
