On this particular Wednesday..at the start of another new month…as the nation journeys through this further stage of Lockdown.. you are invited to pause and pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus

For family and friends

For all in the emergency services in our villages and towns and cities at this time

For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation

For our country and our national leaders at this time of decision making

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Three in One

Reading : MATTHEW 8 verses 23-27

Meditation : consider all that is said here as your day starts.
Is there a storm you want Jesus to calm?

Then turn to pray to Him in response
For yourself at this time
For others
For our world

In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Democratic Republic of Congo at this time in our world
O LORD, give blessing and hear our prayers we ask this day.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from MATTHEW 8
Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response – to this Jesus

O Jesus, Lord of protection and help,
Hear the evening prayers of your followers
For we are indeed in need of rescue from this world around us
Amen.
