Pause to Pray for Others
On this last Sunday of the month…as the nation and the world wrestles with the virus and vaccine supplies…and the crisis in Ukraine is a major concern before us in our world … you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.
You are encouraged to continue to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for all those in need on our Church Prayer List at this time – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time
For family and friends and neighbours
For Church leaders across the world to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus
For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation
For our country and world leaders at this time
Bible Verse for the Week
‘…..the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past, but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith’
Romans 16 verses 25 and 26
Daily Devotions for MARCH 2022
In this way the priest will make atonement for them for the sin they have committed, and they will be forgiven.
Leviticus 4 verse 35
During 2022 we are looking daily at the theme of GOOD NEWS as we journey with Paul through his letter to the ROMANS – and pausing at our times of Midday Devotion to pray for others in our church family, our city and our world.
In March, as we journey though Lent, we look into LEVITICUS as well as ROMANS.
Leviticus is not an easy book to chew over – but there are truths behind the words that will help us understand more about God’s Good News through the Sacrifice of Jesus.
We are all encouraged to listen for God’s voice and make our response as we journey together in our ‘rhythm of devotion’
These Devotions are but one way to feed on God’s Word in the morning, at midday, in the evening… to pray with Him continually through the day and even to share with others the treasures or hurdles you discover.
The Church website and Facebook page (even on a handy mobile) provide a fuller daily devotional page. However it all follows the pattern below which the information provided fits into, based on the Kirk’s origins of the Celtic and Northumbrian traditions
which we started as a church family in 2015.

Each Sunday at Midday we will re-visit one of the 11 daily themes….and this time we revisit the children’s videos with the Cheeky Pandas!
