Morning

Pray to hear and receive from Jesus, Saviour and Lord

Reading : Romans 1 verses 18-32
Meditation : take time and consider what Paul was teaching here and what God is saying to you from these verses.                          

Pray in response for our world

In Your name Jesus, Amen.

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of the day
O Lord, thank you.

Evening

Reading : read these verses again

Reflect…. and then Pray….with confession
God of true righteousness,
God of amazing grace,
Hear my evening prayer.

Reading : Luke 10 verses 17-21
Meditation : consider what is said here by the disciples and by Jesus.
What is God saying to you today?

Pray in response to what you have read
(Pray your own words at the start of this day
Of praise and worship
Of confession and trust
Of understanding and need)
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday

Pray God’s blessings on someone you met/spoke with today
O Lord…bless them real good.

Evening

Reading : read verses 18-20 again

Reflect on what God has done in your life and what He wants to do and then pray to Him
Father God, hear my prayer.

Pray to hear and receive from the Living God

Reading : Matthew 4 verses 1-11
Meditation :  take time and consider how Jesus dealt with temptation

and then pray honestly in response
O LORD God,
I need your help
to be truly more like Jesus.
I choose to live to please You afresh this day….
In thought and word and action
By your Spirit’s enabling.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Midday

Pray the Prayer for the Month as your own midday prayer
(It can be found on LK website or in church magazine)
O LORD, God of mercy, hear our cry!

Evening

Reading : read these verses again

Reflect on how they apply to your life and then Pray in response
O LORD, hear our prayers we ask this evening.

DOES GOD HEAL TODAY?

Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : Acts 5 verses 12-16
Meditation : consider the events here in this part of the life of the early Church and in our Bible.
What is God teaching you? What is He saying to you today?

And then Pray in response to to be a healing follower of Jesus – even today!
O God,
Hear my prayer
And help me I ask
To be more like Jesus
And
In His name bring healing we call out!
Amen we pray together this new day.

Pray for the Church across our land to know Sunday blessings tomorrow!
LORD, bless your Church real good we ask!

Reflect on what you read…. and then Pray to this Lord
LORD God, our God, hear our evening prayers.

Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Reflect again on the words you have just read and pray in response to Father God
Father, hear our evening prayers, in Jesus’ name.

Meditation :   take time and consider what these words teach us about being a disciple of Jesus.

Pray for all those attending/running Alpha courses in churches across the world
Lord, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask.

Reading : read verse 2 again

Reflect on what Jesus said
and Pray in response to God…for other believers to be used by God
O LORD, hear our evening prayers
