Pray to hear and receive from the Living God
Reading : Matthew 4 verses 1-11
Meditation : take time and consider how Jesus dealt with temptation
and then pray honestly in response
O LORD God,
I need your help
to be truly more like Jesus.
I choose to live to please You afresh this day….
In thought and word and action
By your Spirit’s enabling.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
