Reading : ROMANS 7 verses 7 and 8

Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here.
The Law.
What images or words stay with you?
What is God saying to you today from His Word?

And then pray in response – as your day starts
including for others feeling distant from God at this time

Pray your own honest words to the LORD God.

Pray God’s blessing on refugees and migrants from Somalia
Father God, hear our prayers and bless each and all real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this short passage again from ROMANS 7
Reflect on the words written here and pray in response to this God we trust in

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For those you have brought back home
And for those you are drawing nearer to at this time

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
