Morning

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading :   Ephesians 6 verses 10-20

Deliver us from evil!

Meditation :  take time and consider all that is said here.

God gives us armour

Jesus stood where we stand

The Holy Spirit prays with us

 

And then pray in response – as your day starts, put on God’s armour to face the day

In Jesus’ name,  Amen!

 

Midday

Pray God’s blessing on those on our Church Prayer List

Father God, hear our prayers and bless each and all, we ask in Jesus’ name, Amen

 

Evening

Reading :  read this verse again from Ephesians 6 verses 10-20

  • in another version?

Reflect on the God’s great provision here and pray in response to our Father God

 

O LORD, hear our evening prayers

As we return our thanks to you

For all you have done for us

We will stand strong

In your Spirit

Be with those who are standing beside us

In Jesus’ name,  Amen.

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus, Son of God

Reading : EPHESIANS 6 verses 10-20

Meditation : As we pause with Jesus this morning…
We slow down and take time to consider these words from Paul
What is God teaching/reminding you here?

And then take time to Pray in response to our God

P-ause as we consider our victorious King
R-ejoice in who Jesus is
A-sk to be more like Him – even today
Y-ield to follow Him closer today

Amen we pray together this new day.

Midday

Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Evening
Reading : read the verses again from EPHESIANS 6
Reflect on the words…. and then Pause to Pray in response to what you have read

Turn your eyes upon Jesus
Look full in His wonderful face
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace
