Daily Devotions for Wednesday 1st February, 2023

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Three in One

Reading : MATTHEW 7 verses 7-11

Meditation : consider all that is said here by Jesus as your day starts.
Ask, Seek, Knock
What is your response to God’s written Word today?
Is there a prayer of asking and seeking on your lips?

Then turn to pray to God in response
Ask
Seek
Knock
For yourself
For others

In Jesus’ name we ask
Amen

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those on our personal prayer lists
O LORD, we ask and seek and knock this day.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from MATTHEW 7 verses 7-11
Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response – to this God, our God

LORD God, our God,
God who deserves our thanks
Hear the evening prayers of your people
As we ask…seek…knock
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
