Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the LORD God, the Eternal One
Reading : JOHN 11 verses 38-44
Meditation : take time to consider these dramatic events
Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead!
What words or images stay with you?
What is God saying to you today from His Word?
Then take time to Pray in response to this Jesus
And for a family known to you at this time
Living and resurrected Jesus,
Lord of life,
Have mercy on us and our church family we ask in these days
For we believe and trust in you.
Amen.
Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those attending and leading funerals this week
O LORD, hear our prayers at this time of day and have mercy we ask.
Evening
Reading : read the verses again from John 11
Reflect on their meaning for you and pray in response…to this God of ours
O Living and True God, our God, hear our evening prayers
And forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sinned against us even today.
Oh pour out a blessing on those we name before you
