Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus
‘Thy Kingdom Come’

Reading : JOHN 2 verses 1-12

Meditation : take time and consider what happens here and the theme of CELEBRATE
What images or words stay with you?
What good gifts from Father God are you currently celebrating?

Pray to this God of ours in response
Including for others who have reasons to celebrate at this time

O Father God, our LORD,
We ask you to bless those
Who are celebrating
A birth
A wedding
An anniversary
A promotion
A life lived
An event
Good news
Amen – we pray together!

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those preparing to get married this year
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening

Reading : read this passage again from JOHN 2
Reflect on the words and events here and pray in response to this Jesus

Living Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers and receive our praise
For we believe and trust in you
For the large and the small things in our lives
For the good gifts we have enjoyed this day
For the world we live in.
Amen.

Thy Kingdom Come #celebrate

As part of God’s Church we have participated in the global prayer venture of Thy Kingdom Come each year. This runs during the 11 days between Ascension and Pentecost…..and this year it will happen May 13th-23rd.

Each Saturday at 12 noon we are continuing to ask and seek and knock on Heaven’s door…..’Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done’…..and to pray for up to 5 people we know to meet with Jesus and to experience God’s Kingdom reign in their lives.

This week we focus on the theme of CELEBRATE as we pause to pray with others.

We are encouraged to take time to bring our words of Celebration to the LORD our God on this second Saturday of a new year. Pause to consider the reasons you have to celebrate – even in these uncertain days

God’s faithfulness and loving kindnesses

Others who are part of your life

Blessings of this past week

Thy Kingdom Come #celebrate

As a Church we took part in the global prayer venture of Thy Kingdom Come earlier this year.
This ran during the 11 days between Ascension and Pentecost….many weeks and months ago now!

It may seem a strange thing to do at this time but we are invited to spend time with the LORD our God….bringing our prayers of celebration and praise to Him at this time. You may find it helpful to read PSALMS 146 and 149 as you turn to Prayer.

Bring to mind the good gifts God has given you this past week.

Celebrate His amazing grace and kindness and generosity.

Celebrate His acts of goodness to you and others.

Celebrate with the psalmist and the musicians and the dancers!

Thy Kingdom Come #celebrate

As part of the Thy Kingdom Come prayer venture earlier this year..we are revisiting the 11 themes each Saturday morning as a church family.

Today we are encouraged to take time and pause to pray in celebration!

for the gifts Father God has given us this past week

You may want to sing your song of praise or shout aloud to the LORD our God – go for it!
