Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : PROVERBS 15 verse 1

Meditation : consider this one verse as your day starts.
A gentle answer

What is your response to these words?

Take time to Pray in response to the LORD our God
Trusting in Him as you step into this day

In Jesus’ Name
Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
‘Thy Kingdom come’ Father God
LORD our God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read the passage again from PROVERBS 15 verse 1
Reflect on the words…. And then pray to this God in response

O God of saving grace and mercy,
Hear our evening prayers,
For our city and our nation.
As we return our thanks to you.
As we look back on our day
As we trust you for tomorrow
In Jesus’ name
Amen and Amen.

O LORD, hear our prayers and bless Your Church we ask – even today.

Reflect on this one verse again and then Pray in response

Thank you Thank you Father God for your faithfulness to us – even today.
Hear our Monday evening prayers we ask
In and through Christ Jesus we pray together, Amen.

Sunday Evening Prayer with Others

As we step into a new week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from PSALM 103 – as we continue to pause in Proverbs and Psalms this Summer time….

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Sunday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Israel, Gaza, Ukraine, Russia, Yemen and other parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow and the week ahead

Thy Kingdom Come – Scottish video Day 2

Thy Kingdom Come global prayer venture happened earlier this year in May.

But….we pray on!

Each Sunday at midday we are revisiting the videos – including the Cheeky Pandas and Youth Videos – to be encouraged and challenged to keep praying for our 5 friends to meet with Jesus.
