Pause to Pray for Others
On this Sunday in Lent…as the nation and the world wrestles with the virus and vaccine supplies…and the crisis in Ukraine is a major concern before us in our world … you are invited to pause and continue to pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.
You are encouraged to continue to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus – in our community, in our nation and in our world – and for all those in need on our Church Prayer List at this time – and for parts of the world in turmoil at this time
For family and friends and neighbours
For the Church in Ukraine and Russia and other nearby countries at this time
For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation
For our country and world leaders at this time
Bible Verse for the Week
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence,
so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
Hebrews 4 verse 16

Third Sunday of Lent
Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the Living God
Reading : ROMANS 1 verse 17
Meditation : take time and consider this verese this Sunday morning.
A Righteousness from God.
What does it mean for you today?
What is God teaching/reminding you about?
And then pray in response
God of amazing grace
We bow before you
We believe in you
We trust in you
We receive from you
By faith
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen
Evening
Reading : read these particular words again from ROMANS 1 verse 17
Reflect on the truths behind the words and then Pray in response to this God
O LORD, hear our evening prayers we ask
As we thank you for the blessings of this Sunday
As we believe and trust in you
As we pilgrimage on into this new week
By faith
In Jesus’ name, Amen
