Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : HOSEA chapter 14

Meditation : consider these words this morning about repentance and blessing.
What do they mean for you in your life?

And then Pray in response – as God leads you
Pray with confidence to our God of mercy and forgiveness

Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those who are feeling alone at this time
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and bless them real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this short chapter again
Reflect on the words you have just read and pray in response
Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers as we respond to these words
And bring a blessing to those in need of forgiveness we ask.

Meditation : take time and carefully consider these words.
How would you describe God’s relationship with Israel?
What is God saying to you today from His Word?

Then pray in response to the LORD as your day starts
Looking again at verses 8 and 9

Pray God’s blessing on the leaders and government of Russia
Lord, hear our prayers and bless each and all real good we ask.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in that land.

Evening
Reading : read these particular verses again from Hosea 11
Reflect on the words written here – and what God is saying to you now.
Pray in response to this God who loved Israel greatly
O LORD, hear our evening prayers as this day closes
As we return our thanks to You.
As we humbly confess our sins

LORD, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask.

Reading : read these set verses again from Hosea 6
Humbly reflect on what you read and then pray in response – for yourself and
for others you have met during this day
LORD God, Father God, hear our many different prayers.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
