Pray to hear and receive from Father God

Reading : 1 John 3 verse 3
Meditation : take time and consider John’s words in this one verse.
What is God saying to you today? What is your response?

Use the words as the basis of your Prayer to this God at this time in your life
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
I have read these words.
Here I am.
Oh make me so much more like Jesus!
In His Name I call out this morning.
Amen.

Pray a God’s blessing on other believers who are struggling in their faith at this time
Father God, hear our prayers

Reflect on the words and their meaning for you…. and pray with humble honesty in response
LORD God, our great and holy God,
Oh I bow in worship before You.
Continue your work in me by your Holy Spirit
To make me more like Jesus
Holy, holy, holy.

Meditation : take time and consider these wonderful words of truth for all
who are in Christ Jesus – what hope is ours! What incentive to be living for Him!
What is God saying to you today from these words?

Pray around the words of this verse – with hope!
O Returning Saviour and King!
Come Lord Jesus!
To see You face to face!
Soon and very soon we call out in these days!
Hallelujah and Praise the Name of the Lord!
Amens are ringing out from our spirit!

Pray for believers who are young in their faith
O LORD, hear our prayers and bless each one we ask. 

Evening

Reflect on your future and pray in response…with a living hope!
King of kings, Lord of the Church, returning Christ, hear our evening prayers.

Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit, on this Sunday

Reading : 1 John 3 verse 1
Meditation : take time to consider the great truths in this one verse!!
How much does God love you?   Is God your Father God?
How should we expect the world to deal with us and our faith?

Pray in response – with praise and thanksgiving – to this God!
LORD God, Father God,
Thank You for….so much!
Help me to….trust You more for all You are doing!
Hear my prayer of gratitude this morning
In Jesus’ name I ask.

Are you looking forward to Christ’s return? Why/why not?

O LORD, hear our prayers.

Reading :  1 John 2 verses 18-27
Meditation :  take time to consider this part of the Bible and what these words teach you about the enemies of Christ – and His followers. What is God saying to you today?

LORD God,

Teach me from Your Living Word,
Protect me in Christ Jesus,
That Your kingdom come, your will is done
On earth in this world
In my street, my home and my life.
