Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : 1 Peter 3 verses 8-22
Meditation : consider what these words teach us about suffering for doing good

And then Pray in response to be faithful to God in an unbelieving world
O God of all strength
Hear my prayer as I read these words
And help me I humbly pray.
Amen we pray together this new day.

Pray for local church cafes and all involved in running them
LORD, bless them real good we ask!

Reflect…. and then Pray in response
LORD God, our God, hear our evening prayers.

Reading :   1 Peter 3 verses 1-7
Meditation : take time and consider these verses – what is God saying here?

Pray honestly in response…..for yourself and for others, married or not
O Lord Jesus
Thank you for your Word here
Show me your living truths
And bless all who are married in our churches
That they – and all others – might shine for Jesus
In our nation at this time.
Amen – we pray together.

Pray God’s blessing on believers in Sudan facing persecution for their faith in Jesus
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Reflect on the words you have just read, what they teach you and pray in response

Meditation :   take time and consider what is being said and taught here –
and what God is saying to you and what He is asking of you….

then pray in response…to live to please God wherever you are day-by-day

Reflect on these truths at the end of your day
and Pray in response to God, to be used by Him, for Him

Reading : 1 Peter 2 verses 4-12
Meditation : take time to slowly consider these great verses….and what they mean to you today.
Is Jesus your Living Stone in life? Have you claimed all that verses 9+10 offer?
Are you putting verses 11+12 into practice?

– and then pray in response, as God leads you, for yourself and for others in Christ
O LORD our God,
Receive our praise!
You have done so much in Christ Jesus!
Move among us and our sinful world we ask
With Your grace and justice, mercy and forgiving love
And may we be careful
To give You all the praise and glory
As we see Your Kingdom come, Your will be done,
Lives changed – even ours!

O LORD of amazing grace, hear our prayers.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
I believe in who you are,

Help my unbelief
And continue to work in me
For I am not there yet.

LORD God, our great God,
For all of today
We thank You.
As We put our trust and hope in You alone,
Even for those things that cause us fear and concern at the end of this day
Help us to rest in Your unfailing love and on Your faithful Word
And that You have not forgotten even me.

For all you have done in Christ Jesus,
Teach us more of Your truth
And bring these words to life
Even in and through our living sacrifice to you.
