Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Three in One

Reading : ROMANS chapter 12

Meditation : consider all that is written here as your day starts.
In Christ Jesus – New Life and Christian Living.
What is your response to God’s written Word today?
What words stay with you as you step into today?

Then turn to pray to God in response

O LORD our God,
Thank you for all these words
And all they teach me.
Receive my sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving
And make me more like Jesus I pray
In Jesus’ name, Amen

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Big Idea group of churches in 2022
O LORD, give blessing and hear our prayers we ask this day.

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from ROMANS chapter 12
Reflect on the words you have read and then pray in response – to this God, our God

LORD God, our God,
God who deserves our thanks
Hear the evening prayers of your people
For we are indeed in need of rescue from this world
And to be more and more like Jesus
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Meditation : take time and consider this chapter in the Bible this morning.
What is God teaching/reminding you today?
What is your response to Him?

Take time to Pray in response – including for others known to you seeking God at this time
And for all nations in our world

We can but worship you this day O LORD
We can but ask for you to send saving grace this day O LORD
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask and seek and knock……and hear
Father God…thank you.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from ROMANS chapter 11
Reflect…. and then Pray as your day closes

God of the Romans and the God of today,
The God of grace and mercy
The God of eternal faithfulness
My God, our God,
Hear our evening prayers
As we thank you for your help today
As we journey from today to tomorrow
As we name others we care about before you
In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Pray in response – to this God – as we yield to His Kingdom ways in our world

Pray your own words at the start of this day
Of praise and worship
Of confession and trust
Of need – for yourself and others
For others to know God in a personal relationship

O LORD, have mercy on each and all we ask and pour rich blessings!

Evening

LORD God, the LORD Almighty, hear my prayer this evening.
As I thank you for the blessings of this day
As I call out to you for others
As I lay myself and this world before you
