Morning

Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit

Reading : ACTS 5 verses 12-42

Meditation : consider this passage of the Bible as your week ends.
What is God saying to you from these verses? What is your response?

And then take time to Pray in response to Him

O God of truth and amazing wonders,
Hear my morning prayer
And by Your Spirit’s help
Make me a person who lives out truth
Following ever closer to Jesus
Even if it brings suffering to my path.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen we pray together this new day.

Midday

Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your own midday prayer
(see Matthew 6 or under the Prayer tab on LK website)

Father God, our God in heaven, hear our midday prayers.

Evening

Reading : read the set verses again

Reflect on the truths beyond the words and then Pray to this Jesus

Lord Jesus, my living Lord, hear my evening prayer at the end of this day.

Reading :   ACTS 4 verse 32 – ch.5 verse 11

Meditation : take time and consider the events here as your day starts.
What is God saying to you today from these verses?
What lessons can be learned?

Pray to this God in response 

O Lord Jesus, Head of the Church,
I read
Help me believe
More and more
And trust in You
More and more
With my words
With my possessions
Even today.

Reflect on them prayerfully and then pray in response

Meditation :   take time and consider slowly these verses as your day starts.    What is God saying to you today from them?

In worship and thanks for what you have read,
In confession and need for boldness today,
For yourself and for others in a place of need.)
O LORD, receive our praise and hear our prayers.

Reflect on the words at the end of your day and what God is saying to you
and Pray in response to this God of Acts 4

Reading : ACTS 4 verses 13-22

Meditation : consider these particular verses as your day starts.
What words stay with you?
Look again at verses 18-20

then pray in response….for yourself and for others in our world

O LORD our God,
Thank you for these words
And all they teach me.
May my hope in You
Reach someone else today.
Protect and equip those in tight corners today
And set them free we call out!

In Jesus’ name,
Amen and amen!

Meditation : take time to consider what is said here.
Ponder over verse 12 again.
What is God saying to you today and what is your response? 

Take time to Pray in response

Lord Jesus,
I believe
Help my unbelief….Even now as I read these words
And make me a person who speaks up for you – even today.

In Your name I ask, Amen.

Take time to listen for God to speak with you at this time of day
Ask…..seek…..knock………..hear!

LORD and God, thank you.

Evening

Reading : read these 12 verses again

Reflect….on the words and events and then Pray in response to Father God

O God who spoke out through Peter,
Hear my evening prayer in Jesus’ name.
