Pray for Summer Buzz on TV this week!
Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Father God
Reading : PSALM 100
Meditation : take time and carefully consider these words.
A Hymn of Praise!
‘Worship the LORD with joy’
‘He made us’
‘Give thanks to Him’
‘The LORD is good’
Then pray in praise as your response to the LORD as your day starts
Worship Him
Give thanks to Him
Sing out in praise your hymn of praise!
In Jesus’ name. Amen and Amen!
Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the staff of a local shop near your home
Lord, hear our prayers and bless each and all real good we ask.
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in their lives we ask.
Evening
Reading : read these particular verses again from PSALM 100
Reflect on the words written here – and what God means to you
Pray in response to this God who is Creator, Father and Faithful
O LORD, hear our evening prayers as this day closes
As we return our thanks to You.
As we humbly confess our sins
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Come, let us sing to the Lord!
Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
Let us come to him with thanksgiving.
Let us sing psalms of praise to him.
For the Lord is a great God,
a great King above all gods.
He holds in his hands the depths of the earth
and the mightiest mountains.
The sea belongs to him, for he made it.
His hands formed the dry land, too.
Come, let us worship and bow down.
Let us kneel before the Lord our maker,
for he is our God.
We are the people he watches over,
the flock under his care.
Together we say Amen and Amen!
Words from this morning’s Daily Devotions – Psalm 95

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus
Reading : PSALM 95
Meditation : consider these particular words from the psalmist this morning.
‘Come let us bow down and worship him’
Consider the words and images used in this psalm.
What is God saying to you today as your day starts?
Is there a response God is asking of you?
And then pray in response – to this God of ours
Looking again at verses 1-7 as you turn to prayer
O LORD our God,
Mighty God,
Our Maker.
This is our song of praise!
In Jesus’ name,
Amen and amen!
Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the staff of your local supermarket
LORD, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask.
Evening
Reading : read these set verses again from PSALM 95
Humbly reflect on what you read and then pray in response – for yourself and
for others you have met during this day
LORD God, Father God, hear our many different prayers.
As we bring our sacrifice of praise
As we confess our sins
As we name others before you
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Joyful are those you discipline, Lord,
those you teach with your instructions.
You give them relief from troubled times
until a pit is dug to capture the wicked.
The Lord will not reject his people;
he will not abandon his special possession.
Judgment will again be founded on justice,
and those with virtuous hearts will pursue it.
Who will protect me from the wicked?
Who will stand up for me against evildoers?
Unless the Lord had helped me,
I would soon have settled in the silence of the grave.
Together we say Amen.
