Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus
Reading : EZEKIEL chapter 7
Meditation : take time to consider these few verses this morning
Punishment for sins
Then take time to Pray in response
Humbly, honestly.
In Jesus’ name.
Amen and Amen – we pray together.
Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those on our Church Prayer List.
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy on each and all we ask
Evening
Reading : read these verses again from EZEKIEL chapter 7
Reflect on what is said here
and pray in response to this God, our God
LORD God, Our God,
Hear our evening prayers
As we return our sacrifice of praise for who you are
And your help even this day in leading us
Forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who have sinned against us even today
As we bring ourselves and our world to you at the end of this day.
And grant us Your peace we ask
Amen.
Evening Prayer with Others
As we journey through this week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from JEREMIAH chapter 44 verses 1-10 – as we continue to pause in the Old Testament….
We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes….
We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Friday – to us and to others
We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people of Israel, Gaza, Ukraine, Russia, Yemen and other parts of our world in deep need at this time
We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow
