Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from the LORD God

Meditation : take time to carefully consider this short passage.
The Tent of the LORD’s Presence.
How does it encourage or challenge you this morning?
What is your response to God’s Word as you step into today?

Take time out with God in Prayer in response – as God leads you
Including praying for others distant from God at this time

O LORD our God

Be near us
Be with us
Even through this day
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the land and people of China
O LORD God, have mercy on each person and all families there we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these words again from EXODUS 33 verses 7-11
Reflect ….and then pray….for others as well as yourself

O Lord, hear our prayers at this evening hour
As we lay ourselves and others before You in Jesus’ name,
Be with us as we step into tomorrow we ask. Amen.

Pause to Pray with Others

On this particular Friday..as the nation journeys through this further stage of Lockdown.. you are invited to pause and pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.

You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus

For family and friends

For all who are home-schooling in our city at this time

For NHS and Care Home staff in our city

For our country and our national leaders at this time of decision making

As I read these words.
Help me let the Holy Spirit work out these truths
Even today.
May you guide and bless others I care for
At this time in their lives
Amen – we pray together.

Pray God’s blessing on someone you have met or heard from this week
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this rich passage again from EPHESIANS 1
Reflect on the words and truths written here and pray in response to the Master Giver

Living LORD, hear our evening prayers and receive our praise
As we believe and trust in you
For the large and the small things in our lives
For the world we live in.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
