Daily Devotions for Friday 13th November, 2020

Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from Jesus

Reading : PSALM 24 verse 10

Meditation : consider these words this morning.
Jehovah-Sabaoth. The LORD of Heaven’s Armies.
What does this mean for you in your life?
Is there somewhere God wants to do battle for you – even today?

And then Pray in response – as God leads you
Pray with confidence to this God – asking for His help even today

Amen – we pray together.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those who serve as Chaplains and Pastors in the armed forces.
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and bless them real good we ask.

Evening
Reading : read this verse again from PSALM 24
Reflect on the words you have just read and pray in response

LORD our God, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies,
Hear our evening prayers as we respond to these words
As we thank you for your help this day
And hear us as we ask you
To bring a blessing to those in need of a victory this evening.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
