The Father and the Son.
What are you encouraged and challenged by from these words?
What is your response to Jesus’ words today?

Take time to Pray in response…to this God

In Jesus’ name.
Amen – we pray together
.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on the Church in our land in these days
Father God, hear our prayers, have mercy and pour out blessings we ask

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from JOHN 14
Reflect on the way God has led you in your life
and pray in response to Him – with humility
and for others known to you in need at this time

Lord Jesus, hear our evening prayers
As we return our sacrifice of praise
As we ponder your words
As we bring ourselves to you at the end of this day.
As we name others before You.
Amen.

Good Friday at 3pm

We would normally be gathering with many others at this time on Good Friday to pause and remember Jesus on the Cross

You are invited to pause just now where you are

You are invited to follow the song links below….to prayerfully read through the passage….to ponder the images…to pray for and with others in our community.

To remember Jesus

There is a green hill far away

Romans 5 New International Version (NIV)
Peace and Hope

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

My song is love unknown

Daily Reflection for Good Friday

You are encouraged – if you are able – to view the Daily Reflection on Good Friday before 12 noon and then to share with others at 12 noon in a prayer/exercise and at 3pm in a time of reflection, since we are sadly not able to gather with others at Gracemount High.

Both will be available on the Kirk website Blog as well as social media.

Thanks.
