As we journey through this week….. with God – together – you may want to revisit today’s Daily Devotions from LUKE chapter 24 verses 1-12 – as we consider TELLING OTHERS THE GOOD NEWS about Jesus through 2023.

We PAUSE with the Lord in prayer as the day closes

We REJOICE in the help and blessings He has given this particular Friday – to us and to others

We ASK for His presence, peace and strength – for ourselves and for others in our church family and our nation and in our world at this time – especially prayerfully supporting the people in parts of our world in deep need at this time

We YIELD – say Yes – to His Kingdom ways for tomorrow

Meditation : take time and consider all that is said here.
The Resurrection of Jesus!
What images or words stay with you?
Who do you identify with most?

And then pray in response – as your day starts
Giving thanks for Jesus, the Risen Lord
Naming others in a place of mourning at this time

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Midday
Pray God’s blessing on those hoping to go to university this year
Father God, hear our prayers and bless them real good we ask

Evening
Reading : read this passage again from LUKE 24 verses 1-12 – in another version?
Reflect on the words and images here and pray in response to our Risen Lord

O LORD, hear our evening prayers
As we return our thanks to you
For all you have done for us
We believe
Help our unbelief
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
