Jesus heals many people.
What words or images stay with you?
What encourages and challenges you today?
And then pray in response to the LORD our God who heals
Naming others in need at this time
O LORD our God,
Thank you for your healing touch to many
Hear us as we name others before you
Have mercy we call out
Even today
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Midday
Pray the Prayer for the Month as your own midday prayer
Jesus
Saviour and Friend
Bearer of our sins and griefs
Bring God’s perfect peace
Jesus
Lord and Friend
Faithful in our storms
Help us – we call out
Jesus
Our Strong Friend
Carry and shield us
As we pray to You
Amen

You are invited to pause and pray with others from our Church Family as you prepare to step into Sunday
You may want to revisit the Daily Devotions for today – LUKE 4 vs 1-13
You may need to name others before Father God
You may want to be still in God’s Presence – and receive from Him
On this particular Saturday..in this season of Lent…as the nation journeys through this further stage of Lockdown.. you are invited to pause and pray with others in our city and across the nation…to the LORD our God, our Father God.
You are encouraged to pray for all those affected by the coronavirus
For family and friends
For all teenagers in our villages and towns and cities at this time
For NHS and Care Home staff across the nation
For our country and our national leaders at this time of decision making
As part of God’s Church we have participated in the global prayer venture of Thy Kingdom Come each year. This runs during the 11 days between Ascension and Pentecost…..and this year it will happen May 13th-23rd.
Each Saturday at 12 noon we are continuing to ask and seek and knock on Heaven’s door…..’Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done’…..and to pray for up to 5 people we know to meet with Jesus and to experience God’s Kingdom reign in their lives.
This week we focus on the theme of HELP as we pause to pray with others in our nation and across the world.
We are encouraged to pause and take time with the LORD our God on this Saturday in March 2021 in this season of Lent.
To ask for God’s Help in speaking to others of Jesus
To ask for God’s Help to live for Jesus
To name others in need known to us – that they may experience God’s Help at this time
To ask God to Help those who are struggling with Mother’s Day being tomorrow
To ask God to Help those unable to help themselves at this time
Morning
Look Upward and Pray to hear and receive from God, the Holy Spirit
Reading : LUKE 4 verses 1-13
Meditation : take time to consider these verses this morning.
The Temptations of Jesus.
What do they mean for you in your daily living?
What is God saying to you today about Himself?
And then Pray in response to what you read – to this God of ours.
Praying for help and strength and wisdom
Praying for others known to you at this time
In Jesus’ name
Amen and Amen!
Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen
Evening

LORD God, our God, receive our praise
For who You are!
For all you have done for us!
For your help and protection even today!
And as we give it all back to you
May you help us in our struggles
Now
Tomorrow
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
