The LORD has blessed you.

Who has been blessed recently known to you?

Then Pause to Pray in response to the LORD our God

God of grace and mercy and rich blessing, hear our prayers we ask.

Evening
Reading : read these verses again from LUKE 1 verses 39-45 – in another version?
Reflect prayerfully on what you read and then pray to our God in response

Eternal and Faithful One,
With thanksgiving on my lips, hear my evening prayer
As I lay myself and name others before you at the end of today

Reading : LUKE 1 verses 26-38

Meditation : take time and consider this passage this particular Sunday morning.
The Birth of Jesus is foretold.
Mary. The Angel.
What does it mean for you today?
What is God teaching/reminding you about His ways?

And then pray in response – using verse 38 as you turn to prayer
Come to Him with open arms
Naming others known to you wrestling with God’s ways at this time

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Midday
Pray the Lord’s Prayer as your midday prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven
Hallowed be Your Name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power and the glory.
Now and for ever
Amen

Evening
Reading : read these particular verses again from LUKE 1 verses 26-38
Reflect on the words and people mentioned here and then Pray in response to this God

I say to the LORD, “You are my God.”
Hear my cry for help, LORD!

because of the great things the Mighty God has done for me.

from one generation to another
he shows mercy to those who honour him.
